Fresh Cream Deodorant

This is a natural deodorant that works, it is aluminium free and does not contain any baking soda or beeswax. I originally made this for myself because I do not like any of the shop bought varieties, I find that even the 'natural' ones contain some type of preservative or baking soda which I really do not want to put on my pits! This is a gentle blend of vitamin rich butters, oils and clays which will soothe and nourish your arm pits. Many natural deodorant recipes call for baking soda which irritates a lot of sensitive pits.
I use a combination of arrowroot, magnesium hydroxide, kaolin clay and diatomaceous earth. (These absorb moisture and toxins from the pores and create a ph which neutralizes body odour). These sweat busting ingredients are blended into coconut oil and shea butter which are vitamin rich, they nourish and soothe sensitive pits. Rosemary, eucalyptus and spearmint combine to have a cooling action, these essential oils are anti-bacterial and really smell divine together.

I have refined this recipe over time and I am very happy with the effectiveness and ease of use. The purpose of this deodorant is to kill the bacteria which causes odour and to absorb excess toxins and moisture from the arm pits. Simply scoop out a pea sized amount and massage into arm pits, feel fresh all day!
