Welcome to Aromawakening, my name is Gráinne. Working with natural ingredients which come from the earth is a way of incorporating the healing powers of nature into products that are simple, fresh and a joy to use everyday. I have been making cold process soaps and organic skincare for 12 years now. I make small scale, high end products inspired by my love of the outdoors, and all things truly healthy and healing. When you notice the beautiful fragrance that wafts out of your bathroom from my handmade soaps, you can rest assured, that it is the uplifting aroma of essential oils. My shower soaps are made using the old fashioned cold process method of soap making. I studied Aromatherapy many years ago and that experience inspired my first skincare creations. I am currently studying Ayurveda with the institute in the UK, this has given me a deep insight into the physiology of the skin and how the body responds to everything that it is exposed to.

My products are suitable for sensitive and reactive skin, they are not only gentle but potent in their healing action. If you are noticing changes in your skin, then changing to a cleaner skincare routine may be the solution. We are exposed to enough toxins in our every day lives. My range is non toxic, each ingredient is carefully chosen for it's unique nutrient rich profile or it's wonderful aroma. I make everything using traditional methods. My skincare is water-less, which means there is no need for heavy duty preservatives, emulsifiers or artificial additives. My mission is to formulate creams and soaps that are cruelty-free and made from simple, natural ingredients that you can trust. Handmade in my tiny workshop in Wales, UK.
