Welcome to Aromawakening, my name is Gráinne. I have been making cold process soaps and organic skincare for 12 years now. I make small scale, high end products inspired by my love of the outdoors and all things truly healthy and healing. I began formulating skincare when I finished studying Aromatherapy in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. Living on the West coast and being immersed in the beauty of the National park, inspired me to work with natural ingredients, that are eco friendly.

My products are suitable for sensitive and reactive skin, Working with natural ingredients which come from the earth is a way of incorporating the healing powers of nature into products that are simple, fresh and a joy to use everyday. I source my ingredients carefully, everything is made using my own carefully formulated recipes. There are no pre-bought melt and pour soap bases used here! My skincare is water-less, which means there is no need for heavy duty preservatives, emulsifiers or artificial additives. My range is vegan and palm oil free, kind and natural.

Commercial skincare products often contain heavy duty preservatives and synthetic additives, while offering a long shelf life, these can be harmful to our health. As more people become aware of this, they are seeking healthier alternatives.
