Fresh Wood Cream Deodorant

This is a natural deodorant that works. I originally made this for myself because I do not like any of the shop bought varieties, I find that even the 'natural' ones contain some type of preservative which I really do not want to put on my pits! This is a gentle blend of vitamin rich butters, oils and clays which will soothe and nourish your arm pits, it is Organic & Vegan.
Many natural deodorant recipes call for baking soda which irritates a lot of sensitive arm pits.
I do not use baking soda, I use a combination of arrowroot powder, kaolin clay and diatomaceous earth (these absorb moisture and toxins from the pores). I blend these into coconut oil which is anti-bacterial, I then add shea butter and essential oils.
The shea butter is vitamin rich, a real treat for delicate skin. The essential oils smell great and have an antiseptic and deodorizing action. Cedarwood, cypress and lemon eucalyptus wood oils have a pleasant fresh outdoors aroma, I love this combo of essential oils, great for him and for her. The purpose of this deodorant is to kill the bacteria which causes odor and to absorb excess toxins and moisture from the arm pits.

This 50ml glass jar tends to last me ages, simply scoop out a small amount and massage into the arm pit. It dries very quickly, as with all deodorants, please take care with delicate fabrics like silk.
